IKONA was founded in 2024 from an idea by Fabio Fabbri, an icon of Romagna’s triathlon scene and a mentor with over thirty years of experience in the field, also as a personal trainer and a well-rounded athlete.
IKONA is a clothing brand specializing in triathlon and leisurewear, but it is also a manifesto of values: discipline, awareness, authenticity, community.

The name IKONA is a play on meanings:
“I” as in I am, because identity is a personal achievement.
“KONA”, like the legendary Hawaiian destination of the IRONMAN, a symbol of challenge and dreams.
IKONA, as an icon to become, through hard work, passion, and consistency.

IKONA’s technical clothing for triathlon comes from careful research, selection, and continuous experimentation conducted by Fabio Fabbri, along with his team of athletes and Rita Bergamaschi, his life partner and a key figure in the project: a sensitive mind, passionate athlete, and an irreplaceable organizational spirit. Years of experience, in-depth tests on fabrics, stitching, fit, and design have allowed for the refinement of every element, also thanks to collaboration with a team of athletes who share the same values.

BORN FROM FIRE

Top of the line, featuring integrated internal pockets. Crafted from premium Italian and French fabrics for maximum aerodynamics and an exclusive fit, designed for athletes who seek peak performance in every detail!

Pele: Front chest 80% polyester, 20% elastane (Italian fabric). Back and side panels: 60% polyester, 40% elastane (French woven fabric). Sleeves: 60% polyester, 40% elastane (French woven fabric). Legs: compression fabric 80% polyamide, 20% elastane (French woven fabric).

IKONA MAUNA

BUILT TO ENDURE

Strong and durable, designed entirely with high-quality Italian fabrics. Aerodynamic and comfortable, featuring external pockets, perfect for performing over long distances, whether middle or full distance.

Mauna: Front chest 80% polyester, 20% elastane (Italian fabric). Upper back and side panels: perforated Tormalina fabric (highly breathable) 75% polyester, 25% elastane (Italian fabric). Lower back: durable Tavolara fabric for the pockets 75% polyester, 25% elastane (Italian fabric). Sleeves: AERO fabric 70% polyester, 30% elastane (Italian fabric). Legs: compression fabric 70% polyamide, 30% elastane (French woven fabric).

IKONA KAI 1-2

ENTER THE FLOW

Fast, sleek, and water-resistant. If you want to glide over the water, the Kai 1 model is for you. Perfect for short distances.

Kai 1: Front chest 60% polyester, 40% elastane (French woven fabric). Back and side panels: 60% polyester, 40% elastane (French woven fabric). Legs: compression fabric 80% polyamide, 20% elastane (French woven fabric).

Kai 2: Front chest: 80% polyester, 20% elastane (Italian fabric). Back and side panels: 80% polyester, 20% elastane (Italian fabric). Legs: compression fabric 70% polyamide, 30% elastane (Italian fabric).
