IKONA was founded in 2024 from an idea by Fabio Fabbri, an icon of Romagna’s triathlon scene and a mentor with over thirty years of experience in the field, also as a personal trainer and a well-rounded athlete.
IKONA is a clothing brand specializing in triathlon and leisurewear, but it is also a manifesto of values: discipline, awareness, authenticity, community.

The name IKONA is a play on meanings:
“I” as in I am, because identity is a personal achievement.
“KONA”, like the legendary Hawaiian destination of the IRONMAN, a symbol of challenge and dreams.
IKONA, as an icon to become, through hard work, passion, and consistency.

IKONA’s technical clothing for triathlon comes from careful research, selection, and continuous experimentation conducted by Fabio Fabbri, along with his team of athletes and Rita Bergamaschi, his life partner and a key figure in the project: a sensitive mind, passionate athlete, and an irreplaceable organizational spirit. Years of experience, in-depth tests on fabrics, stitching, fit, and design have allowed for the refinement of every element, also thanks to collaboration with a team of athletes who share the same values.

Fabio Fabbri is an athlete, mentor, and personal trainer with over thirty years of experience. Along with his partner Rita – also an athlete and sports enthusiast – he is the founder of the brand IKONA Triathlon Apparel, born from the desire to transform sport into a journey of identity, style, and awareness. For Fabio, coaching means guiding people on a path of self-discovery, one step at a time. IKONA is the dream of a lifetime finally realized: a brand that embodies his authentic spirit, built day by day thanks to field experience and collaboration with his team of athletes.
